چکیده
Abstract Resveratrol, a natural polyphenol found in tempeh, has not been investigated especially vitro as neuroprotective agent against 2-methoxyethanol (2-ME)-induced beta-amyloid cytotoxicity. Beta amyloid peptides (Aβ) could initiate neurotoxic events and neuron-inflammatory response via microglial activation. However, it remains unknown whether the effect of and/or associated with potential 2-ME to induce effects on primary culture nerve cells induced by 2-ME. This study trans-resveratrol promising tempeh soybean seed coats-derived cytotoxicity 2-methoxyethanol. Biotium MTT assays were used analyze neurons, which isolated from cerebral cortex fetal mice at gestation day 19 (GD-19). A standard solution was dosed 10 μL. The cultured randomly divided into following groups: (1) group + resveratrol standard, (2) (3) coats, (4) control group, without addition either or resveratrol. Exposure cortical neuron monoclonal antibody pre-incubated for 24 h µL 4.2 µg/mL 7.5 mmol/l 2-methoxy-ethanol additions. Here, we report that (standard tempeh) cell concentrations 1.4, 2.8 showed majority neurons grew well. In contrast, after exposure Beta-amyloid, glial activated. These findings demonstrate role neuroprotective-neurorescuing action.

Neuroprotective effects of statins against amyloid β-induced neurotoxicity
A growing body of evidence suggests that disruption of the homeostasis of lipid metabolism affects the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD). In particular, dysregulation of cholesterol homeostasis in the brain has been reported to considerably increase the risk of developing AD. Thus, dysregulation of lipid homeostasis may increase the amyloid β (Aβ) levels by affecting amyloid precursor pr...
متن کاملNeuroprotective effects of sodium hydrosulfide against β-amyloid-induced neurotoxicity
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is known to be caused by the accumulation of amyloid-β peptide (Aβ). The accumulation of Aβ has been shown to cause learning and memory impairment in rats, and it has been shown that hydrogen sulfide donors, such as sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS) can attenuate these effects. However, the underlying mechanisms have not yet been fully eludicated. This study was designed to in...

Bioassay-Guided Isolation of Neuroprotective Compounds from Uncaria rhynchophylla against Beta-Amyloid-Induced Neurotoxicity
Uncaria rhynchophylla is a component herb of many Chinese herbal formulae for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Previous study in our laboratory has demonstrated that an ethanol extract of Uncaria rhynchophylla ameliorated cognitive deficits in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease induced by D-galactose. However, the active ingredients of Uncaria rhynchophylla responsible for the ant...
متن کاملNeuroprotective effects of honokiol against beta-amyloid-induced neurotoxicity via GSK-3β and β-catenin signaling pathway in PC12 cells.
Beta-amyloid (Aβ) accumulation, one of the most important pathogenic traits of Alzheimer's disease (AD), has been reported to induce neurotoxicity in vitro as well as in vivo. Honokiol, isolated from the bark of Magnolia officinalis, has neuroprotective effects in different models of AD in vivo and in vitro. However, the exact mechanism for its neuroprotective effect is not well understood. The...
